Studio Upgrade

In the early years, Lee began training people at Sparrow Park, whilst working as a gym instructor and personal trainer at Sphere Gym and City of Greater Geelong council gyms. As her clientele numbers increased, Lee converted her garage into a gym. Soon adding the carport area to accommodate the increasing amount of acquired gym equipment. For the next decade Lee worked in this area, helping her clients reach their fitness goals and beyond. In 2018 she temporarily used another studio to train clients, while “Zest” at 152 Weller Street was renovated into the training studio Lee had envisioned from the beginning.

Zest now boasts a well equipped motivating environment, well lit with northern exposure windows, and a beautiful, greenery-filled atrium. With central heating and air conditioning the temperature is kept comfortable for all workouts and the gym is well set out with 5 different aerobic pieces and weight training machines, along with free weights, designed to cover all areas of the body.

Lee is delighted to be able to give her clients complete privacy and her undivided attention. Her knowledge and expertise has been gained by her experience in the field for over 12 years of working with a variety of people, and also by her academic achievement of a degree (with distinction) in Exercise and Sports Science at Deakin University which she completed in 2020.

The latest additions to the gym have been a body inverter to help relieve compression stress through the spine and other joints, and most recently a hypoxic oxygen trainer to simulate high altitude aerobic training. This highly specialised machine is rarely available to athletes below “elite” level and elevates Zest Personal Training Studio to the superior status of catering to all levels of goals and capabilities.
